Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Course (10+2) conducted by the State Board of Tamil Nadu or an equivalent examination shall be eligible. Applicants must have a minimum average of 45% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together for General Category and 40% for BC, MBC, DNC, and SC/ST candidates.
For Lateral Entry (Second Year): Admissions are based on Diploma qualification as per DOTE and Anna University norms.

For M.E. programmes, applicants must have passed the respective engineering degree examination and secured a valid TANCET score. A minimum of 50% in the qualifying degree is required for General Category and 45% for reserved category candidates.

While admitting foreign students, it is ensured that the candidate holds a valid student visa to study in India. Students are required to obtain clearance from the concerned authorities with regard to eligibility before confirming admission.

Athletes and outstanding sportspersons receive first preference and fee concessions during admission. Admissions are offered based on marks, supporting fairness and encouraging academic and sports excellence within the student community.
For UG programmes, selection is based on marks obtained in the Higher Secondary examination. Counselling is conducted by DOTE through the TNEA single window system under Government Quota. For Management Quota, candidates must contact the college office directly.
For PG programmes, selection is based on TANCET score in addition to marks in the qualifying engineering degree examination.
Students who have cleared examinations conducted by national agencies such as GATE are exempted from TANCET for admission to PG programmes.
Based on the selection list, students are interviewed on the date of admission. All original documents are verified and admission is confirmed to the corresponding programme offered by the institution.

Details of fee as approved by the State Fee Committee are applicable for all programmes at the institution.
Fee is payable once a year as per the time schedule prescribed.
Hostel Fee (per year):
Room Rent: ₹22,000 + ₹5,000 Admission Fee
EB and Water Charges: ₹11,000
Establishment Charge: ₹12,000
