SAE India Southern Section

We are delighted to share that the E-Bike Team – Mechatrons from Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT), Coimbatore has secured Third Place in the Best Maneuverability Test with a cash prize of ?5,000 at the Dr. G. Padmanabhan Memorial Electric Two-Wheeler Design Competition. The prestigious competition was organized by the SAE India Southern Section and hosted at Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai. Our team achieved this remarkable recognition while competing with nearly 40 national-level E-Bike teams from institutions across the country. This achievement highlights the students’ technical expertise, innovative thinking, teamwork, and dedication in the field of electric vehicle design and development. Congratulations to Team Mechatrons and the faculty mentors for bringing pride to the institution. We wish them continued success in future competitions and innovations!
