We're thrilled to announce that Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Saferay India on 06 February 2026, a leading engineering subsidiary specializing in solar PV and battery energy storage systems! The MoU, signed by Dr. Sundar Ramakrishnan, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, and Mr. Gowtham Ranganathan, Director of Saferay India, establishes a framework for student internships, consultancy projects and knowledge exchange initiatives. Through this MoU, Saferay will provide hands-on industry exposure to SRIT students, particularly in renewable energy monitoring, operations and management. As part of this collaboration, Saferay India has provided industrial training opportunities to three final year students from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SRIT. The partnership aims to bridge academic excellence with cutting-edge industry practices, preparing students for careers in the clean energy sector while facilitating collaborative research and development in sustainable technologies.
